Cameron can Swim

Cameron has been going to Keas for some time this year, and has been really enjoying himself.

Now that he is getting close to his 8th birthday, he's allowed to start going along to Cubs - and is he enjoying that? You Bet! (says Cameron, very loudly).

On just his second visit to Cubs, the troup went down to the local swimming pool and did a whole bunch of testing for their swimming badges. Cameron passed all the requirements for his Level 1 Swimming Badge.

Well done Cameron!

Madeline's Swimming Certificate

Madeline says ...

My mum bought me a new swimming cap and goggles. I was excited to see them. My cap keeps my hair dry, and my goggles stop my eyes hurting underwater.

I practised and practised and practised my swimming at the pool and at home. I practised holding my breath and blowing bubbles in my bath.

I learnt to float on my back.
